After what was certainly a rather long period of understanding the changing market, Nvidia has made a rather big announcement. In a blog post by David Shannon, executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Nvidia, has announced that the company will now open up its Kepler GPU tech for partners to work on, in effect licensing the technology for deployment in the Android smartphone and tablet market. Ever since Angry Birds took the iTunes app store by storm, there have been many games that were designed around the same concept. Today, we are reviewing Yet Another Bird Game (yes, that’s actually the name of the game), a game developed by an indigenous studio named SuperSike Games. The game was Runner Up at the Square Enix Game Development Contest, so we wanted to see for ourselves what all the hype was about. So, we scored ourselves a copy (the game is only on iOS [iPhone and iPod touch] and is not iPad compatible) and played for hours to see whether the game was worth the $0.99 fee. Angry Birds Star Wars has got a new update this week. It has incorporated Lando Calrissian in bird form. This unique character can blast three bolts as his closest associate Han Solo bird. The bolts are let loose at once instead of one by one. The bolts are sent in different directions: two diagonals and one straight-on shot. This new Angry Birds update also has special power-ups that are activated in the same way as the Millenium Falcon attack.Angry Birds Star Wars game updates are sent out free for regular game players. The new updates will be visible to the user when he starts the game. A Spin Wheel will appear that will give the user a choice of new set of weapons.
