For those of you who have been waiting to once again take a swan dive off rooftops as Altair, the deadly assassin, here is some good news. A notification from video game distributor e-Xpress Interactive Software has told us that Indians can expect the game around November 20, in accordance with its worldwide release. And what’s more, the prices have been revealed too!
Without further ado, here’s the low-down:
Assassin’s Creed II for Xbox 360: Rs. 2,599
Assassin’s Creed II for PlayStation 3: Rs. 2,599
Assassin’s Creed II: Discovery for Nintendo DS: Rs. 1,599
Assassin’s Creed II: Bloodlines for PlayStation Portable: Rs. 1,599
While checking the release dates, we were pleasantly surprised to find that Assassin’s Creed II for the iPhone is set to be released on November 11, a good 10 days before its counterparts. Looks like Apple’s plans for expanding its portable gaming capabilities is working out!
Of course, PC users will have to wait till early next year to get their hands on the game, as Ubisoft has indefinitely postponed the PC version of Assassin’s Creed II. In a Twitter post, the company said: “Assassin’s Creed 2 PC has moved to the first quarter of 2010. A bit more time for the dev team to deliver the best quality game to you.”
Ah well, at least we are getting the console version on time.
